Rack And Pinion Actuators:
Aluminum Pneumatic Rack and Pinion actuators series KP/KPM:
Aluminum rack and pinion actuators are used for quarter turn valves with maximum torque of 5.000 Nm.
These actuators are available in spring return and double acting mode.
Actuators are ATEX and SIL certified and constructed under ISO 5211, VDI/VDE 3845 and IEC 61508:2010 rules.
Ductile Iron Rack and Pinion actuators series K/KM:
Ductile iron Rack and Pinion actuators can be used for the same applications than KP/KPM series, but their body and end caps constructed of cast iron instead of aluminum make these actuators suitable in case that high corrosion resistance level is needed.
As standard, this actuator has the inner cylinder hard chromed surfaced and as option is possible to adapt stainless steel shaft, so, resistance to the corrosion can be even higher.
So, these actuators are available for very aggressive environments like offshore and onshore platforms, vessels or where aluminum material is not permited.
